The Governors meet throughout the academic year to discuss the running of the school including standards of learning, the use of resources and the overall direction and planning. The headteacher works in partnership with the Governors and is responsible for the day to day running of the school.

In addition there are sub-committees of governors who meet regularly to discuss aspects of the school (e.g. curriculum,  finance) in more detail. Some governors are appointed to link with particular subjects (e.g. Literacy, Maths or Special Educational Needs) and others are utilised to cover items such as health and safety or property.

The minutes of Full Governing Body Meetings are available from the school office on request.

All Governors can be contacted  c/o the school contact details below.

Further information on becoming a Governor and how a Governing Body works is available from the DfE Website and the NGA Website.
